Visited last weekend and was really impressed with how clean everything was. The paths, toilets, and food areas were all tidy, and I literally didn’t notice any bad smells anywhere. The bins weren’t overflowing either, which is always a good sign. Overall, just a really nice day out.

We had such a nice day at Paignton Zoo, the keeper talks were the highlight for us. You can usually tell when people really know and care about the animals, and my gut feeling was right here, the staff were brilliant. They answered questions in such a relaxed, friendly way, and we all learned loads without it feeling like a school lesson. The kids especially loved the orangutan talk. We’d definitely go again.

Most of the pages worked fine for me. I tend to skim and use little mental shortcuts when I’m browsing, so if the text is a bit small, I notice it quickly. Nothing major, but making the text bigger would make it easier to use.

The staff really knew their stuff about the animals and they answered all my kids’ questions so well. It made the visit way more fun, and you could tell they genuinely cared.

Uh, the parking was close, which was nice. It was just a little busy when I got there, but overall not a big deal.

I kind of regret not taking the kids here earlier. It was a really nice day out, and they actually learned about the animals and their habitats without getting bored or asking to leave every five minutes. We all had a great time and I’d definitely go again.

It didn’t feel preachy at all, just clear that they genuinely care about the work they’re doing. We spent around a few hours there and had a really nice day out. It felt good knowing the visit was also supporting something worthwhile...

The kids absolutely loved it, so that was a big win. The only thing was the queues did get a bit long at times, which was a little annoying, but overall we still had a really good day.

We went to Paignton Zoo on a busy day, so I was expecting long queues and a bit of chaos, especially with the kids. To be fair, it was managed really well. The lines kept moving, staff were easy to spot and happy to point people in the right direction, and even the popular spots didn’t feel too cramped. It just makes sense that a place like this runs better when there are staff around keeping things moving, and you could really tell the difference. It made the whole day much more relaxed, and we’d definitely go back

I still had a decent day, but for the experience, I’d expect the general maintenance to be a bit better in places.

We had a really nice day at Paignton Zoo with the kids. The giraffes were definitely a highlight, and we spent ages watching the monkeys too, oh, and the big cats, that was one of the main reasons we wanted to go. A few of the enclosures were a bit quiet and some animals were hiding, but that’s just how it goes with zoos really. The signs were helpful, and we ended up looping back to a couple of places later on and saw a bit more. We did miss a few favourites, which is why I probably wouldn’t give it the full 5, but overall it was a lovely visit and most of the animals were easy to spot.

We grabbed some sandwiches, chips, and coffees while we were there, and everything tasted fresh. The kids were happy, which is always the main thing, and the line moved faster than I expected. Prices were a little high, but I mean, it’s a zoo, so not really a surprise. Oh, and the coffee was decent too. I do wish they had a few more drink choices though, because it felt a bit limited. Overall, a good quick food stop

Maybe I caught them on an off day, or maybe I'm being a bit too sensitive, but the staff didn't come across as very friendly during my visit. It just made the experience feel a little uncomfortable.

Had a decent day overall and the animals were lovely, but getting around was a bit of a pain. The signs weren’t very clear and we kept going the wrong way or missing areas. The map didn’t really help much either. With kids, it got frustrating quickly. For the price, I expected it to be easier to navigate.

A friend recommended this place to me, and I’m glad I checked it out. The enclosures looked really clean, roomy, and well taken care of, which definitely made a good impression.

Went to Paignton Zoo last weekend and, the toilet facilities were better than I was expecting for such a busy day. We used the ones near the entrance first, then later the ones by the cafe, and both were easy to find and not too grim, which was a relief because I was already a bit tired and not in the mood for a toilet hunt. The only things that knocked it down to 4 stars were one cubicle being out of toilet roll and the hand dryer being a bit feeble. Still, considering how packed the place was, they were kept in decent shape. Can’t really grumble too much...
